Dog Boarding: Basic Info

At The Barkly, we offer first class service to our clients and their beloved pets. We have several different options for overnight boarding for dogs and cats all year long. All of our buildings are equipped with air conditioning and heating to ensure your pet is comfortable. The rooms are clean, safe and ready for your pet to relax in. We are proud to say that we have the largest rooms around for large dogs or multi-pet families!
Each dog boarding guest has their own room where they can hang out and relax. Every guest is taken on a minimum of 3 walks per day in our large outdoor yards. If your dog has a ton of energy and needs to keep moving all day long, we provide great add on services like special treats and daycare.
Your dog will be checked in on several times throughout the day by our caring staff. All dogs have fresh, clean water and a raised bed for their comfort. All dogs must be current on vaccinations before boarding overnight or participating in daycare. Bring your records with you if it is your first check-in, or if you have recently updated your pet's vaccinations.

Standard Rooms
4x4 Standard small room 1st dog $30 - 2nd dog $28 per night
4x5 Standard medium room 1st dog $34 - 2nd dog $32 per night
4x6 Standard large room 1st dog $36 - 2nd dog $34 per night

4X4 Patio Suite 1st dog $38 - 2nd dog $36 per night

Family Suite
5x8 Deluxe Suite $86 per night
**Max of 2 dogs per room for all rooms, more than 2 dogs require a 2nd room purchase.

Dog Boarding: Requirements
We require the 3 major vaccinations, Bordetella, DHLP-PV, and Rabies, your primary Vet's contact information, and a Signed Pet Care Contract which includes an Emergency Contact that is not traveling with you that can reach you, or find out your whereabouts, in emergency situations.
You may either send us your information via email to thebarklypet@gmail.com, or bring and sign your documents in with you at check in.
Dog Boarding: What to Bring?
We require that you bring your dog(s) on a leash for safety reasons.
We highly recommend bringing your pet's normal food to avoid stomach upset.
We allow personal items from home, i.e 1- 2 toys, and blankets or beds, please do not bring anything you don't want destroyed.
We accept treats and chew bones that you normally give your pet. However, please only bring chew bones that your pet is allowed to have unattended.
What NOT to Bring?
Please no food bowls or electric collars.
However, slow feed bowls are allowed.
Forget Something?
We allow you to bring belongings from home, but remain stocked with raised beds, toys, blankets, and more to ensure The Barkly feels like their home away from home.
Dog Boarding Add On Services
Active Pup $18
Minimum four hours of outside play at the pool/dry camp
Enrichment $12
One 30 minute outside session to sniff and explore, one enrichment puzzle toy, Kong or lick mat treat
Calming Cuddles $12
One calming treat, calming blanket*, and two cuddle times
Stroll $5
Extra walk in between scheduled potty breaks
Bedding Upgrade $3
Special deluxe doggie sofa, and upgraded bedding
Medications $3
Any prescribed medications, over the counter medications, vitamins and/or supplements may be given but MUST come in the orginal container
Pool Party $16
Minimum two hours of outdoor playtime at the pool/dog park
Basic Play $10
Minimum of two hours at dry camp and one enrichment puzzle toy
Golden Oldies $12
Bedding upgrade, two cuddle times, and one extra walk

Cat Boarding:
Basic Info
When you choose The Barkly for cat boarding,
your cat is sure to be pampered!
Each guest has their own private 6.5 foot tall, 10 square foot suite with built scratch posts and cat wall shelves. Your cat will be checked in on several times per day by our caring staff.
All cats always have fresh, clean water and a clean litter box for their comfort. We recommend that you bring your cat's regular food for meal times, but we do provide Meow Mix upon request, and for an extra charge if $1 per day.
All cats must be current on vaccinations before boarding overnight. Bring your records with you or email us at thebarklypet@gmail.com if it is your first check-in, or if you have recently updated your cat's vaccinations.
